It is of my personal belief that within most of us lies the resources to live a happy life. Unfortunately, things such as trauma, environmental stressors, or a lack of skills can get in the way of our ability to access these resources. Think of the last time you felt an overwhelming sense of peace, whether that be while soaking in a beautiful scenery, or watching children play. This "peace," or what I call "True Self," is within all of us.

I specialize in working with teens, couples, and adults. In the past, I've worked at the Sexual Assault Response Center, Lutheran Community Services, and
interned at Benton/Franklin Juvenile Justice. I have also been an Adjunct Professor at a local college teaching psychology and sociology. I believe in coming alongside my clients in our work at a humanistic level.

I work with clients 16+ struggling with anxiety, depression, anger issues, unmasking, self-care, burnout, meltdowns/shutdowns, and mood regulation. I am telehealth only and am currently open to new clients. I strive to be LGBTQ-affirming, fat-positive, anti-racist--and anti-oppressive in all other ways. I work with clients to help them develop guidelines that make sense to them, so that they can play the games they want, go to these conventions they love, and embrace this culture. I opened Roll for Initiative Counseling to focus on helping autistic people (diagnosed or not) in the geek culture who are struggling.

The Tri-Cities is my home and I have a true passion to serve the people in this community and throughout Washington. My ultimate role is to be right by your side on your journey of healing. My style as a therapist is to meet you where you are and to let you guide where we go. You are the driver, and I am your enthusiastic copilot. I have learned to be flexible and collaborative in my approach with each client to help meet my client’s goals. I find EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy incredibly exciting and powerful for clients, which is why I have made it the focus of my practice.
